Oweek .Engineer Martin Kasekende is the Minister for Lands, Agriculture and Environment in
Buganda Kingdom. He is a qualified Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
from Nairobi. He has a Master's of Business Administration ESAMI from Arusha

He is a consultant Engineer with a Bachelor of Science and a member of Uganda Institute of
Professional Engineers. He is a Member of International Housing Association, Registered
Engineer, Engineer Registration Board, Uganda and he is also a fellow of the Permanent Way Institition.
He is a board member of Uganda Clays Federation of Uganda employees and SWICO. He was a long serving CEO of National Housing and Co. Ltd.



Mr. I.K. Kabanda is a Statistician by profession, He has a Masters Degree in Development Economics and Economic Planning. Retired from Public Service at the level of Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
Was Chairman/Managing Director Uganda Commercial Bank, then Director, Stanbic Bank Uganda and he has been the Chairman of Uganda Revenue Authority.
He was Vice Chairman Buganda Land Board from 1993 to 2006.

He is the chairman Audit & Risk Management committee Buganda Land Board and Committee member to the Land Management & Physical Planning Committee BLB.



Omulangira David Kintu Wassajja is a senior member of the Construction Buganda Royal family and the Administrator of Muteesa II Estate. He is also the patron of Buganda Youth Council.

He is a graduate of Nottingham University in England with vast experience in Insurance and
Telecommunications. He is a real estate developer and entrepreneur.

Omulangira Wassajja is a committee member of the Land Management and Physical Planning
and the Corporate Affairs Committees of Buganda Land Board.



He is a member of Audit, Risk Management and Corporate Affairs Committee, Buganda Land Board. He is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University, USA.
He worked as the Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Commerce in Uganda Government. He is a
member of the Rotary Club of Kampala East and organization of Rotary International-Chicago.



He is a graduate of Statistics and holds a Masters of Economics in Economic Policy and
Planning from Makerere University. He is a fellow Emeritus of the Center for the Study of
African Economics, University of the United Kingdom and an adjunct faculty member of
Strathmore University in Kenya.

Mr Nsibirwa is the Minister for Finance, Investments, Planning and Economic Development for
Buganda Kingdom. In addition to BLB, he is a Board member of Uganda Coffee Development authority, Green Hill Holdings/Academy and the CEO Summit among others.
He co-founded Bridge Credit Finance, a finance enterprise in Uganda and Kenya and worked
as the Executive Chairman. He also co-founded Ashland Motors Africa Limited, a diverse
business portfolio that includes commercial Leyland Vehicle distributorship in Uganda, serving as the Executive director.
He also served as the president of Rotary Club of Kampala North in 2006 and is now the Rotary District Governor (2015/16) for District 9211, Uganda and Tanzania



He has a career in Social Work and Social Administration.

He is the head of ‘Nsuma’ Clan and served as a member for Buganda Lukiiko from 1997 to 2013 and was a member of Mukono District Land Board since 1998 to 2008.

He is a member on the Board of Directors for Namulondo Investments Limited



He is a graduate of Bachelor of Commerce (Management) from Makerere University. He is a
Common Wealth Scholar with a Postgraduate Management Certificate from Ahmedabad Indian. Institution of Management and Ottawa University in Canada.

He attended and successfully completed the Effective Director Executive Program with Strathmore Business school.

He was the LC V Chairman for Mpigi District in .He was the Executive Secretary of Buganda
Land Board from June 2003 to February 2007



He is a professional and Registered Architect planner and a holder of both a Bachelor and
Master’s Degrees from the University of Nairobi.

He is the Managing Director/Coordinator of Eco-Shelter Consultants since 1996 and has over
40years of both National and International track work experience in Architecture/building,
Design and construction Management. He worked for the former East African Post and Telecom

Corporation (EAP&TC) as its Chief Architects and for the former Uganda Post & Telecom Corporation in the same position. He also worked as the Director of the Housing Research Institute-University of Nairobi and later Chief Technical Advisor-CTA for the UN Habitat in Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Liberia and later in Eritrea.

He has held many National and regional positions, including;
• Board member of Buganda Land Board and Namulondo Investments Ltd and
• The Chairman of Planning and Development Committee
• Member of PPDA Appeals Tribunal
• Council Member of Uganda Christian University and currently of Nkumba University
• Former chairman of the National Social Security Fund Board of Directors
• President of Uganda Society of Architects(USA)Architectural Association of Kenya(AAK), East African institute of Architects (EAIA), Malawi Institute of Architects(MIA) and Sierra Leone
• He is a Technical Director of the Uganda Land Owners Association (ULOA) and Sierra Leone
• Chairman of the Architects Registration Board of Uganda
• Chairman of Ggaba Parish Development Committees since 2000.

He is a graduate with both a Bachelor’s degree and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Nairobi.

He has vast experience in Architecture having practiced under Uganda Society of Architects,
al Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK), East African Institute of Architects (EAIA), Malawi
Institute of Architects (MIA), Sierra Leone Institute of Architects.

He was a UN Habitat Consultant to the Gambia, Malawi, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Eritrea on
low Income housing Development programs and national capacity building for their

Architecture Kateregga was the president of Uganda Society of Architects, the President of
the East Africa Institute of Architects among other responsibilities held in the various organizations.
He is currently the Chairman of Planning and Development committee, Buganda Land Board



Dr. Eve Kasirye-Alemu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Makerere University, a Master of Science degree and a PhD degree in Food Science and Technology from Canada. She also has expert training in Quality Assurance and Standardisation.

She founded the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) and was its (UNBS) Executive Director for 12 years.

Thobani is the Minister of Planning in the Kabaka's government and he is the Chairman of Four Ways Group of Company's.

He is a reknown Enterprenuer in many businesses.



Mr. Kyewalabye is a graduate of Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Makerere
University, Kampala. He has a Diploma in Project Planningand Management, a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (Dissertation stage) from UMI-Uganda and a Masters of Sciences degree in Management and Implementation of Development project from Manchester University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Male has a vast experience in Management and Leadership for over 12 years.





Mr. John Kitenda is a graduate of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University Kampala, Masters of Business Administration (Projects) and a Higher Diploma in Marketing from Makerere University Business School.



Who We Are

Buganda Land Board is a Company that was entrusted to manage Buganda Kingdom land that was returned under the restitution of Assets and properties Act 1993, Cap.247 which included the 350 sq. miles and over 300 sq. miles returned in the agreement signed between the president of Uganda and His majesty the Kabaka of Buganda in August 2013.It has branches and service centers in all the 18 counties of Buganda to offer effective service delivery to all its clients.
